Silver Maples programs

Silver Maples, a non-profit retirement community, is now offering two new innovative programs for retirees who are looking for the ease, convenience and comfort of a full-service retirement community.
The VIP program provides a chance to "try out" independent living at Silver Maples.
Those on the waiting list can spend a night or two in the VIP Suite, and enjoy of restaurant-style dining and special activities to get a feel for the dynamic, comfortable and friendly community.
Silver Maples is also partnering with the Chelsea office of Charles Reinhardt Realtors to assist those who are ready for the transition into a more convenient lifestyle.
Reinhardt is offering a complete package of home-selling and moving services that includes preparing homes for the market, working with homeowners and coordinating packers and movers.

Church accredited
The Chelsea Church of the Nazarene, 12126 Jackson Road, has received accreditation by and membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
ECFA accreditation is based on seven principles of responsible stewardship, including financial accountability, transparency and ethical stewardship.
The church joins nearly 1,300 ECFA members nationwide that have demonstrated their willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
"The distinctive doctrine of the Church of the Nazarene is living a Christ-like life," said Senior Pastor Jeff Crowder. "We want to reflect God's character in every way. That includes, but is not limited to, our stewardship of financial resources."
Bridge teams end season
The Chelsea Community Hospital Bridge Marathon concluded its 2007-08 season on June 4 with a bridge party at the Chelsea Community Hospital Woodland Rooms.
The hospital provided dessert and beverages for the 12 teams of the marathon.
The CCH Gift Shop also provided were gift certificate prizes for the winning team.
Placing first this year was the team of Anne Mann and Carole Zenz with 24,870 points.
